 In September 2006, Saphire became a promotional partner of Nokia. The first 500 people registered as a member of Nokia Premium Community, will be awarded by Nokia with a one-year complimentary Saphire membership, among other facilities.
Nokia Premium Community is an exclusive community for Nokia premium cellular-phone owners. Nokia Premium Community was introduced simultaneously with the launching of Nokia’s new generation of premium cellular-phone 8800 Sirocco Edition – The Natural Masterpiece, which was held on 20th September 2006 at Grand Ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Jakarta, and was highlighted by the performance of well-known international jazz singer, Laura Fygi. The event was the first time-ever of Nokia Masterpiece Award presentation to 8 selected individuals, who have given huge contribution for Indonesian.
